Don began practicing law more than a decade ago, following a highly successful career as a commercial pilot and computer consultant. Since that time, Don has successfully represented hundreds of satisfied clients in many types of cases, including: Defense of pilots accused of violating FAA regulations; purchasing, selling and 1031 exchanges of jet and other aircraft; business formation, contract drafting, litigation and defense; defense of people charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes; contested and uncontested divorce (dissolution), legal separation and child paternity (parentage) matters; people (or their estates) who have been injured or killed, whether by car, motorcycle, aircraft or otherwise.
You might be wondering why Don would practice law in so many different areas. Good question. The answer: because he has the knowledge and experience to successfully do so. Looking back on his career, Don has always been eclectic, having started learning computers in 1973 at the age of 13, long before the personal computer (PC) or the Macintosh was ever invented. By 18, he was working as a computer consultant in Fortune 500 companies. Don has taught college, been a commercial pilot, worked for a police department and the National Transportation Safety Board performing aircraft accident investigation. In a word, Don has been busy and as a result has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience that he can use to help you.

In addition to a law degree, attorney Don Werno has a Masters' and other degrees in Psychology, and this background makes him a more effective counselor and attorney at law. For those who are physically unable to come to our office, we offer home and hospital visits. A retainer deposit is not always required and we take Visa and Master Card for your convenience. Payment plans may also be available, depending on the circumstances of your case and in some instances, such as personal injury matters, we will work on a contingency, which means that we get paid only after we win your case.
